Community CPR & AED                                                              Course Length: 4.5 Hours
                                                                                                   Cost: $40 per/person
 


This course is a basic life support program designed for a layperson who wants or is required to have CPR and AED training, for example emergency response teams in the workplace, school bus drivers, teachers, law enforcement, and day care providers.  The program covers sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, and stroke, foreign body airway obstruction, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use of an automated external defibrillator.                                                                                                                           
Description:  This course covers CPR and foreign-body airway obstruction for Adults, Children, and Infants, 1 rescuer scenarios with the use of an AED.
Intended Audience:  Anyone who has the duty to perform CPR with the use of an AED in responds to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements until emergency medical services arrives to take over resuscitation efforts.

    This course First Aid course covers the importance of emergency response, controlling severe bleeding and shock, care for soft tissue, bone, joint, and muscle injuries, assisting with medical emergencies, heat and cold-related illness, and more.
Description:  The first aid section teaches how to stabilize and manage illness and injuries until emergency medical services arrives to assume responsibly of treating the patient.  This course covers first aid basics, medical, injury and environmental emergencies. 
Intended Audience:  Anyone who has the duty to perform first aid care in responds to a medical emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements until emergency medical services arrives to take over treatment efforts.

The First Aid certification is good for 3 years
